There are several scenarios where I may be able to help move your pattern along with ghostwriting.

Scenario 1: You have a pattern idea and either some notes and drawings or maybe even a fully assembled sample quilt but you aren't sure where to go next. I can write your pattern from the ground up—cutting instructions, block and quilt assembly, diagrams—let's bring this pattern to life together!

Scenario 2: You have a quilt pattern drafted or even fully written but it's missing a little something that will make it look really professional. I can go through your pattern to make sure things are organized and formatted in a clean and clear way that is easy to follow and maybe even polish up those illustrations too.

Scenario 3: You have a quilt pattern written, you are feeling good about how it reads and how it looks but gosh those illustrations are hard! Let me create all of your illustrations from cutting diagrams, to block construction, to a full quilt diagram, and maybe even a blank coloring page as well.

Tech editing services are great for designers when the pattern feels close to being complete. I will go through the entire pattern start to finish looking for grammatical errors, punctuation, and consistency with wording. I will also check your numbers, measurements, cutting instructions and yardage requirements. Lastly, I will look at your pattern, as a whole, for formatting, ease of following instructions, and the overall layout.
